Australian Sports Commission – National Multicultural Strategy


In partnership with Portable, The LOTE Agency was engaged by The Australian Sports Commission (ASC) to develop a multicultural engagement strategy to address barriers to participation in sports with multicultural audiences, specifically focusing on female engagement. 


In the initial stage of the engagement strategy, LOTE and Portable organised Discovery Workshops that involved participants completing a survey to ensure the strategic development project was appropriately targeted. The workshops are designed to gain a deeper insight into the current state of multicultural engagement within an organisation, what their ideal future state looks like, and build an effective roadmap to get there. As a result, the research helped understand the perceptions of the issues relating to engaging females from multicultural backgrounds.
