Australian Human Rights Commission – Planning for Later Life

Studies have shown that older Australian residents from multicultural backgrounds were less likely to have in place legal documents such as wills, powers of attorney and advanced care directives, which have been associated with lower reports of elder abuse. The Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) engaged us to design a campaign targeted at older Australian residents about planning ahead for later life.

The campaign included a stakeholder pack with translated assets to encourage and prompt older Australians to take their first steps towards securing their rights and wishes through future planning by reducing family stress and conflict as well as protecting themselves against elder abuse. In-language materials involve social media assets and radio ad scripts which will be broadcast by ethnic radio stations across Australia.
