As the material was targeting a Chinese audience in Australia and overseas, LOTE assigned a translator who specialised in translating marketing material to ensure the translation resonated with the target audience and reflected the client’s desired tone and style. Once the text was translated LOTE’s team of in-house desktop publishers typeset the translation into the artwork to produce a Chinese version of the brochure. The client had internal staff fluent in Chinese check the translation. They were very pleased with the quality of the translation and no changes were required. LOTE’s quality assurance procedures ensured the artwork and translation reflected the same branding and style as the English version.
